Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for families. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, excellent caregiving skills, and the ability to create a safe, nurturing environment. This role involves engaging children in educational and recreational activities, preparing meals, and assisting with daily routines to promote their well-being and development.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety at all times
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with homework, teaching, and age-appropriate activities to promote learning
- Engage children in play, arts and crafts, reading, and other developmental activities
- Maintain cleanliness of the child's living area, including light cleaning and organizing
- Provide caregiving support for children with disabilities or special needs as required
- Follow family routines for naps, bedtime, and daily schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and prepare snacks for children
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and reliability
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with parents and family members
- Demonstrated responsibility in managing children's safety and well-being
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities is desirable
