Overview

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional experiences to clients in a professional and welcoming environment. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your skills in nail artistry, body waxing, and retail sales while maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer service.

Duties

  • Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
  • Provide body waxing services to clients seeking hair removal treatments
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health regulations
  • Upsell retail products such as nail care items and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
  • Deliver excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering recommendations, and ensuring a relaxing experience
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client flow and satisfaction
  • Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
  • Uphold all safety standards related to sanitation and hygiene practices

Skills

  • Proven experience in nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylics, and nail art
  • Knowledge of body waxing techniques and best practices
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client needs
  • Attention to sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
  • Retail sales experience is a plus, with the ability to promote products confidently
  • Effective time management skills to handle appointments efficiently while maintaining quality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.20-$38.11 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
