Job Summary

Richmond Hyundai is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Trainee to join our growing team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in the automotive Industry . The Sales Trainee will receive hands-on training and mentorship with the goal of becoming a Product Advisor upon successful completion of the probationary and training period. This career path offers many opportunities for growth and advancement. Successful Product Advisors may progress into roles such as Finance Management, Sales Management, General Management, and other leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand Hyundai vehicle models, features, and technologies
  • Assist customers in the showroom and online with general inquiries
  • Support Product Advisors with vehicle presentations and test drives
  • Actively engage in social media marketing, including posting vehicles on Facebook Marketplace and other platforms
  • Generate leads through online platforms, social media, and customer follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate customer information using CRM and dealership software
  • Participate in sales training sessions and ongoing coaching
  • Provide a positive, professional, and welcoming customer experience

Experience

  • Previous customer restaurant, retail, or other customer service experience
  • Experience with social media posting
  • Interest in automotive sales or the automotive industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using technology, including computers, smartphones, and tablets
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic and desire to grow within a sales career

Knowledge of or willingness to learn:

  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Social media marketing
  • Basic digital content creation (photos, captions, messaging)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00-$6,500.00 per month
