Sales & Finance Specialist – Automotive (Independent Contractor, Commission Only)

Location: Maple Ridge, BC (In-Store)

Job Summary

We are seeking a driven Sales & Finance Specialist to join our automotive sales operation as an independent contractor. This is a commission-only automotive sales and finance role with uncapped earning potential, ideal for motivated professionals who want flexibility and control over their income.

You will manage vehicle sales, automotive financing, and customer relationships from first contact through delivery while operating as a self-employed contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automotive vehicle sales and deal structuring
  • Automotive finance and credit application processing
  • Explaining financing options and terms to customers
  • Managing your own sales pipeline, follow-ups, and deal flow
  • Ensuring all sales and finance documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Delivering a professional, customer-focused buying experience
  • Generating repeat and referral business

Required Qualifications

  • Valid MVSABC license OR ability to obtain one (mandatory)
  • Automotive sales, finance, or F&I experience preferred (Higher Comission Rate)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail

This role is offered strictly as an independent contractor position, not employment.

The successful applicant must:

  • File and manage their own personal or corporate taxes
  • Operate as a corporation or sole proprietor
  • Obtain and maintain their own GST number
  • Invoice commissions earned
  • Be comfortable working without salary, hourly pay, or benefits

Compensation

  • Commission-only compensation
