POSITION SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service, maintain and/or install washers, dryers, and card systems to meet customer service level requirements in Oshawa & surrounding Areas.
  • Efficiently troubleshooting mechanical repairs to washers, dryers, equipment;
  • Recognizing and troubleshooting electrical and plumbing problems in laundry rooms.
  • Maintain clean machines consistent with the company image and professional appearance;
  • Responsible for inventory of company provided parts and equipment on company provided vehicle;
  • Understanding and strictly following all company processes and procedures;
  • Effectively use company-provided device for routing, scheduling, inventory, and accurately recording customer visits; read electrical schematics, maps, GPS, and other routing systems;
  • Always presenting a professional appearance and provide service to customers in a positive, professional manner; as well as performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must hold a valid G2 gas License
  • Experience with electronic devices, such as computer tablet, Blackberry, or Smartphone preferred;
  • Prior washer/dryer repair experience is highly desirable.
  • Need excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Must be highly flexible, able to prioritize schedule, and work on multiple projects while still meeting deadlines;
  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid Driver's License with clean abstract.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Maneuvering and/or lifting of heavy equipment up to 75 lbs. required;
  • Must own and supply basic hand tools;

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

The top candidate(s) will be required to undergo a Background check conducted by Sparkle Solutions Human Resources.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
