Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires hands-on experience with various automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs, including but not limited to engine diagnostics, brake systems, and electrical components.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Assist in the assembly of vehicle parts as needed, ensuring all components are installed correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably with dealership experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
