Branch Manager

CTBC Bank Corp. (Canada) continues to expand in Canada and we are looking for a highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented professional equipped with strong management skills and extensive experience in banking operations. The Branch Manager role at CTBC Bank Corp. (Canada) is a critical leadership position that is both challenging and rewarding. You will lead, motivate, and reward your team. Your leadership and management styles will have a strong impact to the goals and satisfaction of our clients and employees.

This is a unique opportunity to establish, develop, and manage our main branch in
Vancouver area
. You will champion on business development, superior sales and service management, as well as marketing and operational effectiveness as part of your daily work focus. You will lead a high performing team that delivers superior client services and accomplished desired goals. Your knowledge in banking will help you succeed in managing risks through compliance to regulations and procedures. You have a positive attitude in building strong relationship with both customers and colleagues with good understanding of client needs.

Job Description

  • To expand the customer bases and market for deposit taking and consumer loan generation.
  • To build up good relationships with clients & local associations
  • To propose & execute Bank's marketing strategy & business plan.
  • To supervise/oversee the branch operations.
  • To direct and control the branch operation in an efficient manner to ensure a high and quality services are delivered to all clients.
  • To ensure the completeness of business document for the best protection to the Bank's interest.
  • To ensure that all banking regulations, acts, rules are strictly followed.
  • To develop and achieve a harmonious working atmosphere and working relationship with all staff/department; and minimize the Branch's turnover rate.
  • To train and upgrade branch's staffs.
  • To prepare business plan and financial budget of the branch.
  • To seek continuous improvement opportunities to streamline work process.
  • To contribute constructive suggestion, recommendation on cost effectiveness of operations and earning improvement.
  • To act as Branch Security Officer to oversee and control the branch security.
  • To provide guidance, consulting and training about treasury operations
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Over 6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of previous supervisory or management experience in Branch Operation.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking services and products.
  • Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies.
  • Strong Leadership and coaching skills, as well as excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong Business Process Management
  • Solid problem solving and business analysis skills
  • Customer service focused with conflict resolution abilities

Salary

Competitive salary based on experience. From CA$60,000.00 per year.
