Founded in 2022, Smashed is all about quality, community, and great food. We're located in the heart of Vancouver's entertainment district, inside Donnellan's Irish Pub. In just a short time, we've earned a loyal following for our never-frozen Black Angus smash burgers, as well as our friendly, energetic kitchen vibe.

We take Canadian pride in our ingredients and service, and we love serving everyone from locals to late-night Granville Street visitors. Our team is small, supportive, and committed to making every burger the best in the city.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking burgers and menu items to our high standards, every time
  • Keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy shifts
  • Packing take-out orders carefully, with attention to presentation and quality
  • Answering phone orders and interacting with guests in a friendly, professional way
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace
  • Following all food safety and hygiene standards

Who We're Looking For

  • Experienced: You have real, hands-on experience working in a commercial kitchen. You're comfortable stepping right in and handling busy services.
  • Burger or Grill Skills: Experience with smash burgers or grill cooking is a big asset.
  • Open Availability: You have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. (Specific shifts will be discussed in the interview.) Must be able to work Sunday - Wednesday 12pm and Thursday - Saturday to 1am.
  • Team Player: You bring a positive attitude and support your team, but you're also confident working independently.
  • Calm Under Pressure: You can handle a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and keep your cool when things get busy.
  • Work Permit: You must already be in Canada with a valid work permit. Only applicants with legal Canadian work status will be considered.
