Our Tribe Management division specializes in strata and rental management services. We are responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of residential & mixed-use properties in our portfolio.

About the Role

Our client in the Williams Lake area is seeking a part-time Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our residential units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all administrative duties involved in the operation of the building
  • Show suites for rent, check credentials for prospective tenants and communicate with Property Manager to confirm successful candidates
  • Collect, deposit and record of all rents
  • Issue warning/breach letters to tenants when applicable, serve eviction notices to tenants when applicable
  • Complete accurate detailed move in/out reports for each tenant
  • Comply with regulations as contained in the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Supervise contractors
  • Prepare detailed incident reports related to accidents, altercations, damage to the property and/or other application incidents
  • Issue purchase orders for all work/supplies being undertaken at the building

Qualifications

  • Experience in building management, property maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
  • Familiarity with BC tenancy regulations is an asset.
