The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy lifting, and moving operations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries or relocations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting clients with their moving and delivery needs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
  • Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
  • Assist customers with their moving or delivery needs, providing professional customer service
  • Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation
  • Manage route schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly
  • Perform routine safety checks before and after trips to ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely and efficiently
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physical stamina for manual labor including load & unload activities and long periods of driving or standing

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Work Location: In person
