Job Description: Performs a variety of analytical procedures, analysis and laboratory duties for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and management of disease and illness.

Education

  • Major dependent on specific specialty area:
  • e.g. Chemistry required in Chemistry, Microbiology in Microbiology, etc.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in defined science & required courses
  • Baccalaureate of Science Degree with a major in Biochemistry or Biology; Genetics/Cell Biology (6 Cr. Hrs), Microbiology (6 Cr. Hrs), Statistics or Bioinformatics (3 Cr. Hrs)
