Full-Charge Bookkeeper
to manage our internal accounting operations and support our growing team.

Position Overview

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing the complete bookkeeping cycle from daily transactions through month-end reporting. This role works closely with management and our external accountant to ensure accurate financial records, timely filings, and smooth financial operations across multiple business functions.

This is an
in-house role
and ideal for someone who values accuracy, consistency, and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for retail, service, and installation operations
  • Record and reconcile all bank accounts and credit cards
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
  • Prepare and file
    GST/PST returns
    accurately and on time
  • Process payroll and related remittances (CRA, WCB, etc.)
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet)
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and reporting
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
  • Liaise with external accountant for year-end and tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and internal controls

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of
    full-charge bookkeeping experience
    in Canada
  • Strong working knowledge of
    QuickBooks
    (Online or Desktop)
  • Solid understanding of Canadian payroll, GST/PST, and CRA requirements
  • Experience supporting multi-department or multi-revenue businesses preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Bookkeeping certification or accounting coursework is an asset
