Role Overview**

The Technology Architect - Senior will provide
strategic business analysis and advanced technical expertise
focused on
Data Centre Network (DCN) infrastructure services
. The role supports the development of
Second Stage Requests for Bids (RFBs)
for various Data Centre Network technologies and architectures.

The successful resource will ensure that all solutions align with
organizational service specifications, infrastructure standards, policies, best practices, environmental considerations, and cost models
.

This is a fully
onsite role
, requiring in-person attendance at the designated office location five days per week.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    strategic guidance and technical leadership
    for Data Centre Network infrastructure initiatives.
  • Support the development of
    procurement documentation
    , including Second Stage RFBs, related to Data Centre Network technologies and architectures.
  • Draft and deliver
    strategic documents, technical reports, presentations, and financial models
    .
  • Lead
    Data Centre Network and network security initiatives
    , ensuring alignment with:
  • Enterprise infrastructure standards
  • Service delivery processes
  • Established procurement and governance procedures
  • Ensure all deliverables incorporate:
  • I&IT information management mandates
  • Strategic and operational plans
  • Environmental and sustainability considerations
  • Industry and enterprise architecture standards
  • Evaluate and recommend
    next-generation service delivery models
    , including:
  • Hybrid cloud
  • On-premise private cloud
  • Off-premise public cloud
  • IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
  • Provide expert input on
    cost modeling, service strategies, and provider engagement models
    for Data Centre Networks.

Skills & Experience Requirements
1. Data Centre Network Infrastructure & Architecture (30%)

  • 10+ years of enterprise-level experience

in a technical or business capacity.
- Proven experience with:
- n-Tier Data Centre Networks
- Tier-IV Data Centre environments
- High-availability, resilient, and secure network architectures.

2. Technical Documentation for Data Centre Networks (10%)

  • 5+ years of experience

preparing and developing
complex technical documentation
for enterprise Data Centre Networks.
- Experience working with
certified Tier-IV Data Centres
.

3. Data Centre Network Service Strategies & Provider Models (10%)

  • 7+ years of experience

evaluating, analyzing, and developing:
- Data Centre Network service strategies
- Provider and sourcing models
- Long-term infrastructure roadmaps.

4. Service Delivery Models & Business Analysis (10%)

  • 8+ years of experience

conducting business analysis related to Data Centre services.
- Demonstrated expertise evaluating service delivery models for:
- Hybrid cloud environments
- On-premise and off-premise solutions
- IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.

5. Public Sector Experience (10%)

  • Prior experience working within a
    public-sector environment
    is required.

Mandatory (Must-Have) Requirements

  • 5+ years

preparing/developing complex documentation for enterprise Data Centre Networks hosted in a
certified Tier-IV Data Centre
