Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in the accounting operations and financial management of the company.

Qualifications:

· Professional Accounting designation required

· to 8 years of relevant experience

· Able to respond quickly within a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline sensitive environment

· Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity

· Advanced skills in desktop applications particularly with excel

· Experience working with ERP systems

· Proficiency in Dynamics 365 and Power BI, with the ability to build and interpret financial dashboards and approval workflows, would be considered a significant asset

This position requires candidates to:

· Maintain quality control over financial information and reporting

· Comply with government reporting requirements

· Oversee preparation of corporate tax filings

· Develop and document processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

· Assist with Maintaining Japanese SOX compliance

· Manage External Audit

· Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

· Manage and support preparation of timely monthly financial statements

· Assist leaders in identifying areas of opportunity in generating profit & controlling expenses

· Assist with managing cash flow, treasury and banking requirements
