About Lima Café:

We are a warm, locally owned dessert & coffee shop located in Burnaby. Inspired by the sweets and soul of Lima, Peru, we offer homemade treats, specialty coffees, and a friendly, intimate customer experience.

Employment Type:

- Part-time (2–4 shifts/week depending on availability)

- Must be available weekends and occasional weekdays

Schedule:

- Flexible shifts between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

- Typically 4–6 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and serve customers at the counter with a warm and friendly attitude

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and simple beverages (training provided)

- Plate and serve desserts (with care and attention to presentation)

- Operate POS system and handle payments accurately

- Assist in opening and closing tasks (cleaning, restocking, etc.)

Qualifications:

- Friendly, outgoing and proactive attitude

- Previous café or customer service experience is an asset

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills in English

- FoodSafe Level 1 is a plus (can be obtained during training).
