Wastecorp Pumps (Toronto, ON) is seeking a motivated Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to complement our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an ambitious, hands-on position with growth opportunities in an evolving and successful global organization.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Shipping functions include, efficiently pick and package customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct part and quantities are prepared
  • Operate forklift and pump truck to ship, receive and move inventory
  • Receiving functions include, but not limited to, physically receiving, document verification and processing in ERP system, placement and shelving inventory
  • Quality Control visual inspection of inventory received and shipped
  • Report quantity and quality variances, damage, missing or non-conforming parts
  • Review stock levels and prepare requisitions for Purchasing Dept approval
  • Prepare spare parts kit for inventory stock
  • Maintain a clean, safe, neat and orderly work area
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand, while minimizing cost.
  • Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with production and sales to forecast demand
  • Work effectively and efficiently with Sales, Purchasing and Production departments to provide day to day ownership of the inventory/shipping/receiving process, including order fulfillment
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP System. Tracking receipts, shipments and returns
  • Conduct physical inventories as required i.e., perform regular physical inventory counts counts and Cycle Audits to ensure counts accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Identify and address inventory issues. Quantity verifications, update picking sequences
  • Assist in other production areas when required

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of related work experience in shipping/receiving/inventory
  • Forklift Safety Training Certificate preferred
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work in multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment at times
  • Knowledge of inventory management software is require. as well as computer skills
  • Excellent command written and spoken of the English language
  • Knowledge of pumping equipment or power transmissions would be an asset
  • Punctual, reliable, strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Must be able to manually lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
