5+ years of experience in the following:
· Demonstrated alignment with the Ontario Digital Service Standard, ensuring delivery practices reflect user-centered design, accessibility, privacy, and security principles.
· Proven experience leading and planning complex, mission-critical business transformation and IT health-related initiatives, including the design, development, and implementation of solutions, while managing large cross-functional teams, enterprise-wide engagement, and vendor partnerships to ensure effective collaboration across ministries, vendors, and stakeholders
· Driving agile delivery with product-focused teams; collaborating with business analysts and system designers to define scope, translate business requirements into functional specifications, and ensure alignment with operational/IT needs.
· Managing cross-functional teams of business analysts, designers, and developers; establishing working groups and stakeholder forums to support project delivery.
· Gathering and refining requirements, developing detailed schedules, timelines, resource plans, and integrated project plans.
· Applying business process transformation and re-engineering to improve service delivery through cost-effective approaches.
· Identifying, prioritizing, and articulating risks and issues at senior executive levels; developing and recommending mitigation strategies.
· Proactively managing conflicts related to resources, schedules, costs, and deliverables, ensuring commitments are met within scope, budget, and timelines.
· Anticipating and resolving problems to maintain quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
· Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, dashboards, reports, and presentations, including recommendations, implementation plans, strategies, and change-management options.
· Developing training and communications materials to support large system implementations and adoption readiness, ensuring compliance with GO-ITS and Digital Health standards.
· Providing program and portfolio reporting to multiple stakeholders and presenting progress updates through written and oral reports.
· Using strategies to overcome resistance to change and leverage forces supporting change throughout the project lifecycle (concept, planning, implementation, close-out).
· Building positive stakeholder relationships by understanding business and deliverable needs, and by developing frameworks, processes, and mechanisms to support project execution.
Public Sector Experience
· 5+ years of knowledge and experience working with federal/provincial/broader public sector healthcare related projects
· Knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI) and Public Sector I&IT project management methodologies.
· Knowledge and understanding of Ministry policy and IT project approval processes and requirements
· Experience adopting and adhering to Public Sector Unified I&IT Project Methodology, Public Sector Enterprise Architecture and Public Sector Gating process, and Public Sector Standard Systems Development Methodologies
· Experience with large complex IT Health-related projects
· Demonstrated experience with GO-ITS Digital Health standards, and internal branch standards.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to $110.00 per hour
