JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Calypso horticulture is the team who keep the park groomed and care for the gardens and floral themes. They work from the front entrance throughout the park ensuring our standard for landscaping and gardening is met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

Report to assigned work area on time and in compliance with company dress code. 
Comply with company and departmental standards on grooming. 
Work in teams to keep the park groomed and beautiful at all times
Weed flower gardens on a rotation, water gardens and baskets.
Work in assigned sectors weeding and trimming
Cut back overgrowth to maintain safety around water features
Management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g. Emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs, staff levels, or technical development) arise.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  

Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Team player.
Organized and detail oriented. 
Good communication skills

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:   

This position is outdoors in all summer weather
This position requires frequent work in heat and sun.
This position requires occasional work in or around water, natural fertilizers/chemicals, fumes/odors.

Must be able to stand/or walk for long periods of time throughout the day. 
Must be able to work outdoors in the park at various locations

Requires occasional kneeling and bending. 
Requires occasional walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling. 
Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
