We are a 164-room hotel with full conference facilities and restaurant, Table Food and Drink located in central Canmore, Alberta.

We are seeking dependable, personable individuals with a keen sense of detail to clean our guestrooms to the satisfaction of the hotel and guests.

Duties include:

  • Refreshing guest amenities, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls & windows, delivering guest request, delivering & picking up linen/glassware, emptying and disposing of elevator landings recycling & garbage, aiding laundry
  • Able to complete 15 room per shift.
  • Report maintenance problems in public area immediately to room checkers,
  • Ensure lost & found items are returned to the housekeeping office.
  • Support and participate our hotel's recycling program.
  • Be familiar with hotel facilities, housekeeping/laundry chemicals & equipment.
  • Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties.
  • Be knowledgeable in Health & Safety, WHMIS, SDS & PPE
  • Ensure & provide safe & healthy environment for both guests & staff.
  • Ensure hotel security is protected by following the proper

    procedures.
  • Cleaning public areas, Pool, gym
  • Stocking housekeeping closets with sheets and amenities
  • Delivering items to guests
  • Mopping and vacuuming public areas

Salary:

  • $18.50 per hour (starting wage) + Summer bonus
  • Regular pay raise (after 6 months and 1 year based on performance)
