Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or product demos are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support our multilingual clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
  • Engage in active selling through upselling and cross-selling techniques
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
  • Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Keep organized records of sales transactions and inventory levels
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash register operations
  • Support team members in achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive shopping environment

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
  • Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities (e.g., English plus additional languages) are a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products and maximize sales opportunities
  • Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$130,779.62 per year
