The Rope Access Project Manager will provide expert guidance, technical insights, and strategic direction & drive sales and growth for Prairie's region, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in all rope access including alternative access and mechanical operations.

Role Details

  • Full Time Permanent Position
  • Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week with project overtime available.
  • Travel across Prairies Region will be required.
  • Local to the Edmonton, AB area required.
  • Support and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth
  • Pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Plan, quote, execute various scopes for surrounding customers. Supervise crews, service lines and schedules.
  • Conduct value trackers and case studies for scopes completed to provide customers with real time savings for these projects.
  • Oversee cost controls, budget forecasts and time sheets on any projects.
  • Support tool crib functions, sending required equipment to projects or returning, inspecting and logging equipment back into service.
  • Pre and post project management, document lessons learned, cost reporting and potential scope growth specific to each customer.
  • Support service line growth at various customer sites as well as call out work in prairies region.
  • Other work duties as assigned.
  • Strong mechanical background and significant trade experience will be an asset.
  • Business Development, sales experience, with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications in rope access (e.g., IRATA).
  • Strong understanding of rope access techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Ability to execute projects and lead multiple crews and project schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in excel, outlook and word applications.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and leverage insights to develop new opportunities
  • A proactive, solution-driven approach with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
