What Is The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting project coordination and operational activities to ensure efficient and safe execution of Aecon projects.

What You Will Do Here

• Assist with data collection and project analysis to support operational decisions.
• Help schedule work crews and coordinate site activities.
• Perform site previews and inspections as needed for project readiness.
• Support inventory management and procurement of specialty materials/tools.
• Assist with tool maintenance, certification, and tracking.
• Monitor equipment status and prepare weekly utilization reports.
• Track and maintain worker training records for compliance.
• Support safety initiatives by ensuring inspections and reporting align with Aecon's Health & Safety standards.
• Help review and summarize Quality Assurance non-conformances and follow-up actions.
• Maintain organized yard facilities and assist with material handling and documentation.
• Generate reports and assist with data analysis to improve operational efficiency.
• Deliver rush materials/tools to crews as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Renewables team.

What You Bring To The Team

• Currently enrolled in a Civil or Construction Technology/Technician program.
• Interest in utility construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word; MS Project an asset).
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
• Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license.
