For over a decade, Retina Labs has been a leader and innovator in teleretinal screening for diabetic eye disease. Retina Labs offers end-to-end diabetic retinopathy screening solutions for primary care practices and health systems as well as comprehensive at-home preventive care screening for health plans. Retina Labs in-home preventive screenings include diabetic eye exams, bone density scans, HbA1C, kidney health and colon cancer testing. Retina Labs proven approach helps close gaps in care to drive HEDIS scores and STAR ratings while lowering costs through better disease detection and care management.

Job Description:

As a Lead Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders, spearheading the design and development of innovative, dependable, high-performance applications that represent the next generation of self-service tools in private asset-backed finance.

You will be working on developing new features and improving our Java-based teleophthalmology applications, including our new ComplyHub platform which is the backbone of our in-home preventive screening business. ComplyHub is a comprehensive field workforce management and electronic visit verification platform and client portal which has been built in-house.

An ideal candidate would have the following skills and characteristics:

Technical Skills:

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Application Development, Maintenance and Support.
  • Expertise in architecture, solutioning and design
  • Coding experience with Java/Spring Boots, Microservices, Webservices (REST and SOAP)
  • Coding experience with databases such as Azure SQL/MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB etc.
  • Coding experience with ORM tools such as Hibernate/JPA etc.
  • Experience with web services such as SOAP/RESTful etc.
  • Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Spy, Reflection etc.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git/Jira/Jenkins/Gradle/Bitbucket/Artifactory al etc.
  • Experience with build tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, Bitbucket, Artifactory etc.
  • Experience with Spring Batch, Shell scripting, Batch Scheduler
  • Experience with web development technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/jQuery/Ajax/JSON/XML etc.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban/XP etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
