Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in New Westminster, BC. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and conducting safe and efficient drilling operations. Day-to-day tasks include setting up, operating, and maintaining drilling machinery, inspecting equipment, and ensuring all processes comply with safety standards. The role may also involve working in diverse and challenging environments to complete assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment and drilling machinery
  • Experience in drilling techniques, including open hole and cases hole drilling.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection processes to ensure equipment safety and operational efficiency
  • Understanding of hydraulic drill rig practices and safety standards
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to work in a team-focused environment with strong communication skills
  • Relevant certifications or training in safety and equipment operation are advantageous
  • Prior experience in a similar role or related industries is required
  • Must be willing to work out of town, if required.
  • Must be living in the lower mainland of BC
