As we continue to expand our Hydrovac Division, we're seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and drive growth in this rapidly evolving sector.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager – Hydrovac Division will be responsible for the day-to-day management, scheduling, and performance of field crews and equipment. This role requires strong leadership, operational experience, and a focus on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Hydrovac operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage scheduling, dispatching, and allocation of field crews and equipment.
  • Supervise team performance, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to operators and drivers.
  • Maintain communication with clients to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance and ensure equipment readiness and compliance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and best practices for productivity and safety.
  • Assist in estimating, bidding, and project management for Hydrovac services.
  • Work closely with senior management to identify growth opportunities and improve service delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, budgets, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Hydrovac, Utility, or Construction Operations Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Hydrovac excavation techniques, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in scheduling, logistics, and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license (DZ or AZ preferred).
  • Safety certifications (e.g., Confined Space, First Aid, H2S, etc.) are an asset.
