Working language: FRENCH – This position is offered in French. The successful candidate must be able to work in French.

The support worker provides telephone and chat support to Francophone women via Fem'aide, the provincial helpline for Francophone women.

Working day or evening shifts, the support worker offers emotional support to women experiencing situations that may be related to past or present violence. Using a feminist approach, the worker provides callers with a range of resources to help them make informed decisions about their situation, particularly regarding safety. The support worker also actively participates in support meetings and professional development sessions to maintain their skills. Furthermore, the worker completes all statistical reports required for the operation of the provincial helpline, in accordance with organizational procedures.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.18-$23.85 per hour

Work Location: Remote
