POSITION: Energy Analyst (Competition #

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Temporary Full-Time (Approx. 10 months)
REPORTING TO: Coordinator of Energy Management
UNION AFFILIATION: Non-Union
WAGE RANGE: $34.81/hr
HOURS OF WORK: 40hrs/week

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Coordinator or Energy Management, supports the effective and efficient delivery of energy management, in alignment with the County's sustainability efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
· Post-secondary education in the field of energy management, energy systems technology, energy engineering technology, data management or equivalent.
· Minimum 2 year's experience in energy and/or data management.
· Knowledge of statutes and regulations related to energy management and the Electricity Act would be an asset.
· Effective communication skills including both verbal and written communication, time management, computer literacy and customer service.
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel), databases, and e-mail use. Experience in energy monitoring software is considered an asset.
· Knowledge developing baseline models to predict energy usage and costs.
