Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform accurate order picking and material handling within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse
  • Assist with order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to support warehouse operations
  • Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and order fulfillment
  • Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing products for shipment or storage
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily tasks

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
  • Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Valid forklift certification/license is required or must be obtained prior to employment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
