MeVa Granite Ltd., based in Coquitlam, BC, is looking for a skilled Countertops Installer to join our team. This role involves installing stone, quartz, marble, granite, and porcelain surfaces for countertops, fireplaces, and custom projects. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to read blueprints. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality results for both residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Install countertops and stone surfaces according to project specifications.
• Measure, mark, and prepare installation materials.
• Read and follow schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Perform cutting, grinding, caulking, and sealing as needed.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, tools, and vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with clients, designers, and contractors.
• Follow all safety guidelines and construction protocols.
• Manage schedules and complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

• Must Have Experience in installing quartz, marble, granite, and porcelain countertops.
• Ability to follow installation layouts and procedures.
• Skilled in caulking, sealing, and cutting techniques.
• Proficient with tools and equipment for stone installation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 100 lbs).
• Good communication skills and professional attitude.
• Valid BC Driver's License and reliable transportation).
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

• On-site construction work with travel to job locations.
• Requires heavy lifting and physical labour.
• Residential and commercial project settings.

Languages

• English (required)
• Persian or Mandarin (an asset)

Compensation & Benefits

• $25-$35 per hour (based on experience)
