We are currently hiring a Day Porter / Matron to maintain cleanliness and presentation of a commercial facility in Mississauga. This role requires someone reliable, proactive, and comfortable performing cleaning tasks independently while responding to requests from site staff or management as needed.

This is an active, hands-on position suited for someone who takes pride in keeping a facility clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, washrooms, lunchrooms, corridors, and entrances
  • Perform continuous spot-cleaning throughout the shift
  • Restock consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
  • Collect and remove garbage and recycling
  • Respond to spill clean-ups and urgent cleaning requests
  • Perform additional cleaning or support tasks as requested by site management
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages
  • Follow health & safety and cleaning procedures at all times

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Must speak and understand English
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting during the shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Previous cleaning or porter experience is an asset, but not required
