Boutique Fitness Instructors are fitness and health enthusiasts who are motivated to share their technical knowledge with our members in a fun group setting. They thrive on encouraging and motivating clients to help them achieve their fitness goals through group exercise classes. They are personable, often energetic, can be spiritual and always dedicated to helping our members improve their overall health and wellness.

They aren't shy to be center stage and have a knack for cultivating a friendly and welcoming environment. These multi-taskers are able to keep an attentive eye on their class participants ensuring everyone is safe, using proper technique and enjoying themselves.

These exuberant fitness professionals are able to anticipate their audience's needs and adapt their teaching techniques to suit the crowd. They provide informative instruction while motivating and leading guests in group exercise classes. They provide a fun, safe and content-relevant experience for their specific class.

As a Boutique Fitness Instructor, a typical day might include the following:

• Arriving to the club minutes prior to the class beginning
• "Checking-in" at the front desk
• Chatting with members getting ready to participate in class (being receptive to music suggestions, being aware of clients who have injuries and require modification etc.)
• Welcoming members to your class, introducing yourself and getting them excited
• Conduct class with enthusiasm and motivation
• Remain minutes after the class to connect with members and obtain feedback

To land this role you need to have;

• Certifications or workshops relating to fitness and health
• 1+ years of experience as a boutique fitness instructor is advantageous and preferred.
• A recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work
• All team members must have current CPR/First Aid certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment
