Who we are looking for:

The Victoria Inn Winnipeg is searching for a full-time Maintenance Technician. This position will require exceptional organizational abilities and the desire to interact with employees and guests on a daily basis. Only candidates that have a positive customer service attitude will be considered.

What you will learn:

You will learn a full working knowledge of the hotel's operations and equipment. Previous experience with Refrigeration, Heating and Cooling systems, and Electrical and Mechanical procedures is an asset.

Position Summary:

Through the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, oversee and support the daily operations of the hotel with the use of preventative maintenance routines. Provide upkeep of the building and surrounding property, ensuring proper procedures, policies, and standards are being followed. The successful candidate must be able to lift 10-55 pounds regularly, use ladders and spend most of the day on their feet.
