Bricklayer/stonemason

Job Overview

We are looking for experienced masons to join our team. The role involves building, repairing, and renovating structures using brick, stone, and other masonry materials. Candidates should be able to read basic drawings, use hand and power tools, and produce high-quality, safe, and durable work on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Laying brick, block, and stone.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings to determine layout and materials needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
• Assist with renovation projects by removing old masonry elements and preparing surfaces for new work.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bricklayer.
• WHMIS & Working at Heights certification.
• Own basic tools.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings if needed.
• Knowledge of construction standards related to masonry.
• Understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
