Shape the World Around You – As a member of our Water Resources Engineering Group in the Prairies and North Region, you'll help shape the future of water infrastructure across Canada and beyond. Based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Saskatoon, this full-time role is your chance to lead and contribute to high-impact water resources, hydrotechnical, and mining projects that support resilient communities and sustainable development. Your ImpactLead and deliver hydraulic modelling (1D, 2D, and 3D) and open-channel hydraulics solutions for major infrastructure and environmental projects.Drive dam breach modelling and assessments, including Newtonian and non-Newtonian flow regimes, to support risk-informed decision-making.Design and assess water management infrastructure—flood mitigation systems, water intakes, pump stations, and hydraulic structures.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver watershed management, flood mapping, and environmental compliance solutions.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, safety leadership, and innovation. The Skills That Set You Apart5–10 years of experience in hydraulic modelling and hydrotechnical engineering, with a focus on open-channel hydraulics and dam breach assessments.Proficient in hydraulic modelling tools and techniques; experience with water management infrastructure design is a strong asset.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering; eligible for immediate registration with APEGA, APEGS, or NAPEG as a Professional Engineer.Proven ability to lead projects, manage budgets and timelines, and build strong client relationships.Passionate about delivering sustainable, community-focused solutions and mentoring the next generation of engineers. Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $104,100 – $139,900
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $88,500 – $119,300   Disclosure:
