How You'll Make an Impact

  • Investigate, negotiate, and settle accident benefits claims in a fair and timely manner.
  • Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Communicate proactively with members to provide updates, guidance, and resolution support.
  • Maintain accurate claim records, reserves, and settlements within appropriate policy coverage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve fair outcomes and cost-effective resolutions.
  • Contribute to a positive member experience through professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness.
  • As part of our front-line team, you'll play an important role in supporting change and helping to deliver enhanced care to our members

What You Bring to the Table

  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in a related field an asset).
  • CIP or CAIB designation (or working toward one).
  • Experience in accident benefits, automobile, or multi-line claims adjusting.
  • General knowledge of insurance principles, legal concepts, and the SPF #1 Automobile Policy.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology related to common MVA injuries (e.g., WAD).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills
