Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced
Mainframe Developer
with strong expertise in financial services, particularly in banking or insurance domains. The ideal candidate will have solid technical depth, leadership capability, and experience collaborating with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, DB2, VSAM, and CICS
  • Work with job scheduling tools such as
    CA-7
    and
    Control-M
  • Utilize source control systems like
    Endevor
    ,
    Changeman
    , and
    GIT
  • Apply mainframe utilities including
    z/OS Connect
    , IDz, ZDT, ADDI, PD Tool, IMS Explorer
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using
    Jira
    ,
    Confluence
    , and
    ServiceNow
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow Agile methodologies
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for project delivery
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure high-quality code, testing, documentation, and production support
