Overview

We are seeking arabic speaking females , compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team who drive and has evening availability to work in NW and SE. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various setting home care environments. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, particularly those with special needs such as autism and ADHD.

Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, including community support and community access.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Supporting meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients.
  • Assisting with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move safely within their environment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborating with other caregivers and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in supporting children and young adults to develop social skills and build their self-esteem.
  • Knowledge of autism, ADHD, FASD practices and techniques is highly desirable.
  • Experience with meal preparation and understanding dietary needs of various clients.
  • Familiarity with challenged young adults care principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated in independent situations.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
