This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on solving complex challenges and believes in the power of collaboration. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, using your Bentley software expertise to deliver high-quality electrical design packages that meet the needs of today — and anticipate the demands of tomorrow.Your ImpactDevelop detailed electrical design drawings using Bentley tools such as MicroStation, Bentley Raceway and Cable Management, OpenPlant Modeler, and ProjectWiseCreate cable routing plans, single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and panel schedules that support safe and efficient operationsCollaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and integrated project deliverySupport construction documentation and procurement package preparation for major industrial projectsParticipate in design reviews and contribute ideas that drive continuous improvementEnsure all designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and WSP's future-ready principlesCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet key project milestonesThe Skills That Set You ApartDiploma or technical certification in Electrical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally within mining or heavy industrial sectorsProficiency in Bentley software (MicroStation, Bentley Raceway and Cable Management, OpenPlant Modeler, or similar)Deep understanding of electrical systems and design principlesOrganized and detail-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for innovationCompensation BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $55,500 – $73,500
MB & ON: $50,600 – $69,700
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $50,100 – $66,600 Disclosure:
