Overview Of The Role
To support our continued growth in the healthcare sector, Mariner Innovations is recruiting Change Consultants with experience supporting large-scale healthcare transformations. Selected candidates will become key members of our highly successful Change Management Practice, supporting complex initiatives across the healthcare ecosystem.

Change Management Consultants support Mariner's healthcare clients across the Maritimes and throughout Canada. In this role, consultants will work on high-profile healthcare programs involving digital health transformation, clinical and operational process redesign, system integration, and large-scale technology deployments. Consultants will act as trusted advisors to healthcare leaders and stakeholders, providing practical guidance to support adoption and sustainable change.

What You'll Be Doing In The Role

  • Support healthcare organizations in applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Assess change impacts, readiness, and stakeholder needs within clinical and operational environments.
  • Develop and execute change management and communication plans across the project lifecycle
  • Engage and support healthcare leaders and clinicians as change champions.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to support adoption and minimize disruption to patient care.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, communication, and consensus-building.
  • Report on change management progress and risks to project and leadership teams.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years' experience in change management, consulting, or a related role supporting transformation initiatives.
  • Experience developing and delivering change management, communication, or training activities.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including leaders and frontline staff.
  • Working knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, CCMP); certification is an asset.
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, or health system transformation.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
