Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are prioritized.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Utilize warehouse management systems like AS400 for inventory tracking and documentation
  • Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of products and materials in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Support construction or manufacturing-related tasks as needed for warehouse operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
  • Assist in the setup and operation of warehouse equipment including mechanical tools and machinery

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse distribution is preferred
  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload activities
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
  • Prior experience in construction or industrial settings involving heavy lifting and equipment use is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment handling

This position requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.43 per hour
