Looking for a Mandarin Speaking DevOps Engineer
Position Summary
We are looking for an exceptionally skilled
Principal DevOps Engineer
to lead the design, implementation, and management of our next-generation cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is central to ensuring the
reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency
of our systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep knowledge of
AWS
,
Kubernetes
,
automation scripting
, and
cybersecurity best practices
, capable of driving architectural decisions and operational excellence across our platform.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure and Systems

  • Operating Systems: Demonstrated expertise in both Windows and Linux, including advanced configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of system-level issues.
  • Networking: Deep understanding of network engineering principles; capable of configuring and maintaining wired, wireless, intranet, and VPN environments.

  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS):

  • Configure, manage, and optimize AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, and cross-region communications.

  • Monitor and optimize AWS cost structure, analyzing billing data and implementing architectural improvements to drive continuous cost reduction and operational efficiency.

Containerization and Orchestration

  • Expert proficiency with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker Compose, managing the complete container lifecycle from build to deployment.
  • Implement GitOps practices using tools such as ArgoCD and FluxCD for automated, version-controlled deployments of Kubernetes applications.

Automation and CI/CD

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions for continuous integration, testing, and delivery.
  • Deploy applications across AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and other container/serverless environments.
  • Manage API Gateway and CloudFront for secure and high-performance application distribution.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell for infrastructure management, monitoring, and data processing.
  • Configure and maintain CodePush Server for streamlined release management.

Security, Monitoring, and Data Management

  • Serve as a cybersecurity and network security expert, ensuring robust protection of infrastructure and application environments.
  • Configure and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions (Google, Okta, Azure AD, etc.) into internal systems and application code.
  • Implement advanced monitoring and observability practices for cloud and microservices environments; identify performance bottlenecks and implement auto-scaling solutions.
  • Manage and optimize MySQL databases, including performance tuning, lock management, and complex SQL analysis.
  • Execute large-scale ETL workflows and manage data warehousing solutions with platforms such as Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
