Machinist/Millwright

We are currently seeking a Machinist/Millwright with experience in the repair and manufacturing of natural gas compressor components, for our Calgary facility on a full-time, permanent basis. Our hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, overtime work is necessary and you will be required to participate. The wage range is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, however, the starting wage offered will depend upon your experience.

This position involves mainly bench work in a manual machine shop setting. Your time will be spent fitting, repairing and manufacturing compressor components for the natural gas industry. As well, you will be introduced to and learn the repair of turbocharger components.

Alamo will provide you with full training; however, your must have experience in the repair and manufacturing of natural gas compressor components. Additional experience with turbocharger components, pumps and industrial engine components is an asset. You must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs and forklift training is also an asset.
