Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Telecom Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fibre optics, low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and security alarm installation. This role involves working in the field, performing installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test fibre optic cables.
Perform splicing, OTDR testing, power meter testing, and cable certification.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues quickly and effectively.
Follow all safety procedures, industry standards, and company guidelines.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Complete job documentation, reports, and site notes accurately.
Assets:

-first aid
-any technical background
-Valid Driver's Licence
Experience is not necessary as we will train you. As long as you have a good work ethic and willing to learn new skills then you will be fine.
Compensation:
$16 - $30 per hour depending on your experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.59-$41.77 per hour
Work Location: In person
