We Are Hiring: Intermediate Audio-Visual (AV) Technicians – Ottawa

We are currently seeking to hire
3 Intermediate AV Technicians
to join a dedicated team supporting critical AV operations in Ottawa. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals with a strong background in AV support, installation, and troubleshooting to contribute to high-profile live events and daily conference room support.

Position Details:

    Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Security Clearance:
    Secret (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site AV equipment installations, removals, and relocations
  • Provide first- and second-line support for conference room AV systems
  • Coordinate and support live events, including setup and teardown
  • Troubleshoot AV hardware and software issues efficiently
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide system briefs, and support usability
  • Manage and document service tickets using designated systems
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working in various physical environments

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within the last 4 years supporting AV and network devices
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot AV systems and provide client support
  • Experience working directly with clients, providing system orientations and support
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and crawling under desks
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
