In this role, you'll contribute to transformative projects that redefine industry standards and deliver real-world impact.Your ImpactDeliver process designs that enhance efficiency and sustainability across mining operationsLead the development of laboratory testing protocols to improve backfill and material handling practicesApply advanced calculations and field data to inform project decisions and optimize performancePrepare equipment specifications and technical documentation that meet complex project needsMentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellenceSupport audits, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities for mining infrastructureCollaborate on proposals and reports that shape the future of resource developmentThe Skills That Set You ApartBachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering15+ years of consulting or operational experience in mining or milling environmentsProven expertise in backfill plant design (hydraulic fill, paste fill, cemented rockfill), tailings disposal systems, and comminution processesExperience developing underground distribution systems and slurry transport modelsSkilled in establishing lab protocols for thickening, filtration, rheology, and UCS testingProfessional Engineer designation and valid driver's licenseProficient in Microsoft tools and committed to safety-first executionPassionate about making a meaningful impact through engineering excellenceWhy Choose WSP? MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $122,100 – $162,200
