Discover the Role

Support the end-to-end implementation of payroll software, focusing on data migration and project delivery. Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate configuration, testing, and deployment aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Project Delivery
  • Support all phases of payroll software implementation, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist the Project Manager in tracking milestones, managing risks, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during implementation and transition phases.
  • Business Analysis
  • Analyze business processes and requirements to inform system configuration and design.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Develop reports to fulfil business needs.
  • Data Migration & Testing
  • Execute comprehensive data migration activities: data analysis, extraction, transformation, cleansing, loading, and validation.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping documents and migration scripts.
  • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure data accuracy, system functionality, and compliance with payroll standards.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and system issues in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and vendors to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and resolutions clearly and effectively to the relevant parties.

Key Requirements

  • Data Migration Expertise: 5+ years of experience in data migration and ETL tools, with a solid knowledge of data integrity and transformation. Experience with reporting tools is an asset.
  • Technical Fluency: Proficient in Excel, SQL, and other data tools. Solid understanding of implementation workflows and data cleansing techniques.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills to navigate complex scenarios and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Clear Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with vendors and internal teams.
  • Organized & Meticulous: You thrive in structured environments and never miss the small stuff.
  • Collaborator & Independent Contributor: Demonstrates a collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly across technical and business teams. Brings a proactive, can-do attitude to ensure project tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard of quality.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Exposure to Canadian payroll systems is a strong asset.
