Production Planner

This role is part of our ET/UT product line.
The incumbent of this position is responsible for planning and scheduling production in order to deliver a quality product within the deadlines announced to customers, while ensuring that the highest standards in terms of on-time delivery are maintained. Bridging the gap between the Planning, Production and Supply Coordinator; And working in close collaboration with production team leaders and buyers, the production planner ensures that production capacity and parts availability meet customer order requirements.

Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules to balance demand and production capacity; also taking into account the availability of parts.Communicate with the procurement department any discrepancies or misalignments in the availability of components and adjust the planning as necessary.Work closely with team leaders to adjust production plans based on priorities and constraints.Update the production schedule.Track production timelines and communicate to the Planning Coordinator any delays that would jeopardize on-time customer delivery.Analyze gaps and propose solutions to optimize flows and capacity.Participate in daily operations meetings (DMS) to resolve planning issues in real time.Collaborate with engineering and quality during new product introductions or process changes.Perform all other related tasks.What makes you an asset to our team
College/university degree in an appropriate discipline in administration, operations, or logistics.2-5 years of experience in a planning position (or other relevant experience).Be rigorous and enjoy working in a team.Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and interact directly with production teams.Observational skills and ability to make quick decisions based on reality floor.Knowledge of the SAP system (an asset).Execute tasks in an environment with short deadlines.Love the pressure and changing priorities.Excellent knowledge of the office suite.Bilingualism English/French essential.If you have transferable skills, even if you don't meet all the criteria, feel free to submit your application
