The Opportunity:
The position works closely with the Controllership and FP&A team. The senior treasury analysts' job will primarily be to fund the organization and manage key risks of Sentrex including, liquidity and interest rate risks.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Ensure that documents related to banking activities are up to date
  • Preparing Treasury-related wires for approval and execution
  • Preparing cash management plans and reports
  • Assisting our banking partners with their internal compliance and KYC activities related to all Sentrex entities when they arise
  • Maintaining strong relationships with our key banking partners
  • Create/prepare/run daily/weekly Treasury reports
  • Ensuring adherence with the compliance activities of the Treasury department
  • Reviewing of external financial statements (and similar reports) prior to issuance to ensure accuracy of treasury-related items
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations to senior management and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with capital market transactions as required
  • Acting as a liaison with Accounting, Operations and other departments
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Professional designation (CPA or CFA) preferred, or progress towards one
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Sage 300, Financial markets, Derivatives, and accounting procedures an asset
  • Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time management and office management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate
