CSN Concord is a modern 36,000 sq. ft. collision repair facility located in Vaughan, Ontario. We specialize in high-end, luxury, and electric vehicle repairs and are a Tesla Certified location with OEM partnerships including Audi, BMW, and Volkswagen. Our focus is on high-quality workmanship, leading equipment, and an exceptional customer experience.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Prepper to join our growing team. The Prepper is responsible for preparing vehicles for the paint process through sanding, priming, masking, and cleaning. This role offers potential growth within our paint department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sand vehicle surfaces using grinders, sandpaper, and other tools
- Mask and protect areas of the vehicle not being painted
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Remove dirt and imperfections to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Assist with mixing paints and primers to manufacturer specifications
- Help maintain paint equipment, tools, and clean workspace
- Work with the paint team to maintain efficient workflow and quality
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Prepper or similar role
- Knowledge of sanding, masking, and surface prep techniques
- Familiarity with automotive paint products and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Physically able to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
