Director of Operations

We are currently recruiting for a Director of Operations on behalf of our client, a progressive Indigenous Organization within 1 hour of Regina, dedicated to delivering programs and services that strengthen community well-being.

This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the administration, management, and delivery of a wide range of programs and services. Reporting to Leadership, the Director of Operations ensures effective operations, strong financial management, and high-quality service delivery across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations, ensuring programs and services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Supervise and support a diverse team of staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as liaison with government agencies, external partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership in areas such as finance, education, health, housing, justice, social development, and employment programs.
  • Support leadership with strategic planning and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (Master's degree an asset).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience, including operations and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of program delivery, policy development, and Indigenous governance.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with integrity, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
